Sharks still can't win

Read this article: http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/news;_ylt=Argn70pl_jrQBdr.bjPinHR7vLYF?slug=rm-sharkspreview092509&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

The problem here in this equation is Joe Thorton! He sucked in Boston and he sucks in San Jose. He can't win when the puck is on the line (I like puns). He can't, won't, and never will. He is such a Pu%^Y too! So there goes your salary cap and future with the Heatley acquisition but the Sharks will never win with Thorton there.

Hockey Pre-Season is here!

Sweet.

Hockey preseason has started! Go Bruins. Bs square off against the Rangers tonight. One thing I like about the NHL preseason is that the best players actually play and play hard. No one wants to get hurt but everyone digs there skates in. Sure there are some spares that play but in the last pre-season game you won't see only spares like in football.

I am playing hockey this friday and I am wicked psyched!

Federov Swindled out of 43 million bucks!

Sergei Federov has been swindled! Wow. That sucks for him... Here is the story from the AP:

Former Detroit Red Wings star Sergei Fedorov(notes) says a man entrusted to manage his money during the past 11 years swindled him out of $43 million.

In a lawsuit filed Thursday in Wayne County Circuit Court, Fedorov says Joseph Zada of Grosse Pointe Shores also broke a promise to repay him $60 million by April 20.

The suit says Zada “acting in concert with others” and “intentionally lied to Fedorov” whenever he asked about the money.

There was no answer Thursday at a number listed for Zada in Grosse Pointe Shores.

Fedorov, the 1994 NHL MVP and three-time Stanley Cup winner with the Red Wings, has signed a two-year contract with a Russian club of the Kontinental Hockey League. He has also played for Anaheim, Columbus and Washington.

Sign Phil Kessel - Official Petition

Ok, if the Bruins don't sign Phil Kessel I might quit being a fan! I am sick and tired of them not spending money. I have been a Bruins fan since Terry O'Reily and "nifty" Rick Middleton. Number 16 is my favorite number! So I don't want to hear about stupid people saying hang in there. I have hung in there and actually got excited again. But I got excited because they have some talent. The Bruins keep pissing away there talent instead of supporting them!

Bourque had to get his ring in Colorado. Is there anything sadder! All of the Bruins fans had to cheer for another team. Guerin, Thorton...

UGG... The Bruins thing the Craig Janey was a great player. I am surprised they haven't retired his jersey!

Sign Kessel!!!!!!!!!!

Hossa to Blackhawks to watch 3rd team win the cup

I am not so sure about this deal for the Blackhawks. I always look at a players ability to get the job done when giving big money. I believe there is something to be said for guys who are gritty and find ways to win. If you look at some of the biggest goals in hockey they are scored by top tier players but not often the "best scorer" on the team.

Examples: Joe Thorton... if you have to ask why you don't watch or understand hockey.
Examples: 2008 Red Wings... Not the best players in the league but proved they could win!

Of course there is also the curse of the "Marions"!

My guess is the Blackhawks make it to the finals and Hossa will watch a 3rd team in 3 years lift the Stanley Cup over their heads... Perhaps being one of the oldest players will help him mature and learn how to win and not jump ship!

Well, being from Boston I do have to say anything associated with Fenway Park should only be second to The "Good Book" and the Holy Grail!
